Aitor Pomares Caballero
Aitor Pomares joins Berenguer & Pomares in 2010, becoming partner of the firm in 2013.
He started his career in 2006 in a prestigious Intellectual Property firm based in Madrid. Later, he joined the team of lawyers of a large German firm with a centre in Alicante. Temporarily, he has also rendered services as a jurist in the Boards of Appeal of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
He is a graduate in Law from the University Miguel Hernández of Elche (Spain) and holds a Master’s Degree ML/LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Society Law – Magister Lvcentinvs from the University of Alicante (Spain).
He is a lecturer of the Magister Lvcentinvs (ML/LLM) since the course 2011-2012 and an honorary collaborator in the area of Private International Law of the University Miguel Hernández of Elche. Likewise, he is a regular speaker in the Intellectual Property forums and especially active in the field of Geographical Indications, having imparted conferences in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
He is a member of the the Executive Commission of the Intellectual Property Section of the Bar Association of Alicante; Member of the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA), and member of its Geographical Indications Committee.
